Frontier Day Kids Corral and More!

Updated: Nov 10, 2023

Frontier Day is right around the corner, and I’m thrilled to share all the exciting activities we’ve lined up for the whole family!

First, we can’t have a festival without bouncy houses, which are always a hit with the little ones; I can already picture them bouncing away with big grins on their faces.

Now, let’s talk about the Kid’s Corral activities. This year, we are bringing out the big guns! We have a Cowboy Bean Bag Toss that’s sure to bring out everyone’s inner child. Test your aim and toss them bean bags like a real cowgirl or cowboy. Who can resist trying their luck at Apple Tree Balloon Darts? Pop those balloons and show off your sharpshooting skills in a fun and safe way. Spin the wheel and try your luck at Wheel of Fortune; this always adds a touch of mystery and excitement. Hunt for a Pumpkin in a Haystack—a fantastic autumn-themed challenge. Get your rings ready and aim for the targets. Ring Toss is a classic, a game that never gets old. Aeroblast Foam Shooting with air pop guns and foam balls? Count me in! This is going to be an absolute blast, one that kids are going to love!

And, of course, catching little rubber duckies in the Duck Pond is perfect for the littlest festival-goers.

Outside the Kids Corral is the Dunking Booth—this is a splashin’ good time waiting to happen! We thank the Chickalah Fire Department for allowing us to use their dunking booth this year.

We already have one or two brave souls lined up to be dunked. And we hope to find more willing victims (I mean volunteers) to take the plunge! Proceeds go towards the Sharing and Caring program in Dardanelle—Serving all Yell and Pope counties. If anyone is interested in being a dunking victim or needs more information, please contact us for all the dunk-tastic details.

The Boy Scouts will be at Frontier Day with their fun and innovative “Jail and Bail” fundraiser. Pay to have someone jailed for a few minutes and then decide whether to bail them out or leave them there to serve their time. It is all in good fun, and I’m sure folks will have a blast participating and supporting such a good cause.

All in all, Frontier Day will be a fantastic event with something for everyone. This year will be filled with laughter, fun, and memorable moments for the whole family! We look forward to seeing you there. 🤠🎉

Have you attended a past Frontier Day in Plainview? What was your favorite activity? Scroll down and let us know. Tell us what activity you are looking forward to for your family in the comments. We would love to hear from you.
